You might have heard about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, a larger and slimmer version of the Z Fold6, which is expected to officially launch on October 21—though it will likely be exclusive to the Korean and Chinese markets, according to previous rumors.
Now, it seems the Z Fold Special Edition will be accompanied by another device in China: the Samsung W25 Flip. This will essentially be a special version of the Galaxy Z Flip6 tailored for the Chinese market, featuring a completely redesigned back, as seen in the images below.
These pictures come from the device’s certification in China by TENAA, a necessary step before sales can begin. Incidentally, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition may also be released in China under the name Samsung W25, with the model number SM-W9025, while the W25 Flip carries the model number SM-W7025.
In terms of specs, the W25 Flip matches the dimensions of the Galaxy Z Flip6 but is slightly heavier at 198g, likely due to the use of different materials. It features a 6.7-inch 1080×2640 folding display, a 3.4-inch cover screen, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a 50MP main camera, a 12MP secondary camera, and a 10MP front camera.
