A series of leaks has emerged regarding the Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 11, particularly highlighting their advanced camera features, which are heavily infused with AI technology.
Starting with hardware, the Pixel 11 Pro, expected to launch in 2026, will introduce a “next-gen” telephoto camera designed to utilize AI for achieving an impressive 100x zoom for both photos and videos.
Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 11 Camera Features Leaked, Promising Major Hardware Upgrade
The Pixel 11 Pro will enhance its Cinematic Blur feature, now supporting 4K at 30fps, along with a new “video relight” option that allows users to adjust lighting conditions in videos. This capability is facilitated by a Cinematic Rendering Engine within the Tensor G6’s image signal processor, which reduces power consumption during recording with blur by nearly 40%.
Additionally, the Pixel 11 will introduce Ultra Low Light video, also known as Night Sight video. Unlike the current version that relies on cloud processing, this new feature will operate entirely on-device, targeting ambient light levels of around 5 to 10 lux.
Looking ahead to the Pixel 10, set to debut in 2025, it will be powered by the Tensor G5 SoC, enabling “Post-capture Generative AI-based Intuitive Video Editing” within the Photos app, potentially extending to YouTube Shorts as well.
A new AI feature called Speak-to-Tweak will assist with photo editing, while Google is also working on a Sketch-to-Image feature similar to what Samsung offers. Additionally, there’s a mysterious “Magic Mirror” feature in development, although details remain unclear. The Tensor G5 will also be capable of running Stable Diffusion-based models locally, potentially for use in the Pixel Studio app.
