Using Xbox Game Bar (Windows 10 and 11)

  • Press Windows key + G to open the Xbox Game Bar.
  • If prompted, select “Yes, this is a game” to load the Game Bar.
  • Click on the “Capture” button (camera icon) or press Windows key + Alt + R to start recording.
  • To stop recording, use the same shortcut Windows key + Alt + R or click the stop button in the capture bar that appears.

Using Windows 11 Snipping Tool

  • Press Windows key + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool.
  • Click on the “New” button and select the screen recording option.
  • Drag to select the area of the screen you want to record.
